We are absolutely thrilled with our 2007 edition Morgan colt, Locutus. He is by World Champion sire, Astronomicallee and out of Essex Primetime by Black River Leo and out of Cy Don's Cynthia. This colt was bred to be a stallion prospect. He is being offered for a short time for sale, serious inquiries please.

He is currently being turned out to grow up some, but look for him in the 2009 Grand National at OKC. Note: We are so pleased to report that Jean Luc was named Reserve Grand National 2 YO Gelding, and Reserve World Champion at the very competitive 2009 GN.

Listen to what the MORGAN CONNECTION has to say about this fine colt.

"The largest Jubilee Futurity class held this year was the Weanling Colt Championship, where an unprecedented 9 outstanding colts came through the gate with some of the best handlers in the business on the lead. Don and Denise Wetmore went clear to Pennsylvania to breed their winning entry, Locutus who is a son of Essex Primetime, a linebred Fleetwing mare owned by Mike & Patti Postiglione. Their choice of Astronomicallee to this mare proved a good one, as trainer Lynn Peeples was duly impressed by this youngster and brought him to the Futurity class fresh off his Top Ten placing in the Breeders Sweepstakes class from the night before. Whitney Bodnar presented another Sweepstakes entry for the Reserve ribbon, Katherine White's Imax, sired by Masque In Black, who was a study in contrasts to the winner. Renee Page always brings her best to the Jubilee Futurity and her third place colt, Delirium, was no exception. This grand moving colt by SpiceOLife Present Tense and out of the Forevermore daughter, Bellissima. The remaining entries represented such popular sires as Born to Boogie, DBA Street Talk, Hollybrook Stage Rage and Ultra's Special Agent. We hope to see all of these wonderful colts back for the Futurity Yearling classes in 2008!"

What a nice write-up by one of the Breed's foremost magazines!
